The speed of sound is not constant in all materials. speed of sound is determined by elasticity, density, and temperature. S ound does travel faster in solids than in water and air.

Vaccum is an empty space through which sound cannot travel through. This is because sound is basically vibrating properties and in a vacuum there are no properties.

-speed of sound is not constant in all materials. speed of sound is determined by elasticity, density, and temperature. Sound defiantly travels faster in solids than in water and air.-Vaccum is an empty space and sound cannot travel through it. This is cuz sound is basically vibrating properties and in a vacuum there has no properties.
