Suppose the gravitational force between two masses is 10N. If the magnitude (numerical size) of each of the two masses double what is the new value of the new force between them.

A. 5 N

B. 20 N

C. 40 N

    It should be C. 40, because you are multiplying by a square of 2 (gravity=9.81m/s^2). 4 (10N) is 40N, so the answer is C
