How are conduction and induction alike and how are they different?

    Conduction is the transfer of electrons from one object to another object by direct contact. However, Induction is the movement of electrons from one part of an object to another as the result of the electric field of a second object. While they are different in many ways, conduction and induction both require movement of charge.
