A small 18 kilogram canoe is floating downriver at a speed of 3 m/s. What is the canoe's kinetic energy?

    K = (1/2) mv² where m = mass, v = speed of object.

    There fore kinetic energy should be 1/2 * 18 * 3² = 81 kgm²/s²
