What determines the final velocity of an object dropped from rest

    Hello,

    I believe the acceleration of gravity determines the final velocity of an object dropped from rest.

    * Value of g on Earth is 9.8 m/s/s.

    The velocity of a free-falling object that has been dropped from a position of rest is dependent upon the time that it has fallen.

    Formula t o find the velocity of a falling object after a time of t seconds is:

    Vf=g*t (remember this means the object was dropped from rest)
