As you descend, the pressure of the air increases and the volume of the air decreases as it becomes squeezed by the pressure.

    The ratio is 1/pressure.

At 20 meters below the surface, the pressure of the air is 3 atm.

    Time that oxygen tank can last = 1/3 x 60 = 20 minutes
