First we need to find the time in the air

d = 1/2gt^2 + vt

Since there is no inital vertical velocity

4.1 = 1/2 (9.8) t^2

8.2/9.8 = t^2

0.8367 = t^2

t = 0.9147s

Now we multiply by speed

7m/s x 0.9147s = 6.4m
