    Since the angle is 32 to the horizontal: what you have to do is subtract 90 - 32 to get the angle under the leash ...

    90 - 32 = 58

    Then all you have is a simple trig problem to solve ...

    hyp = 65N

    vert = x

    theta = 58

    sin (theta) = vert/hyp

    sin (58) = (x/65)

    x = 65 (sin (58))

    x = vertical component = 55N
