    Impulse, I = FΔt

    Where F = Force applied, Δt = change in time for which the force is applied.

    Now,

    1 kg. m/s = 1 Ns

    Therefore,

    I = 300 kg. m/s = 300 Ns

    F = I/Δt = 300 Ns/10 s = 30 N

    The force applied is 30 N
