    By definition, we know that momentum is given by p = m * v. Then, for object 1, we have p1 = (2 * m) * (v) = 2mv and for object 2 we have p2 = (m) * (sqrt (2) v) = m*sqrt (2) v. Therefore, the moment magnitude for object 1 is greater than object 2 p1 > p2
