The maximum kinetic energy the ball can have at the bottom will be equal to the potential energy of the ball at the top. Ep=mah; Ep = potential energy, m = mass, a = gravitational constant Ep = (5kg) (9.8m/s^2) (10m) Ep=490j of potential energy at max height. Therefore Max Ek at bottom is 490j.
