    Acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change)

    Change in speed = (ending speed) minus (starting speed)

    = (98 m/s) - (65 m/s) = 33 m/s

    Acceleration = (33 m/s) / (12 sec) = 2.75 m/s²
