What happens to the resistance of a wire as its length decreases?

A. The resistance decreases.

B. The resistance alternates between high and low values.

C. The resistance increases.

D. The resistance is not affected by a change in wire length.

    The resistance should decrease, less energy is required to pass all the way through the wire, where as a long wire would need a large amount of anergy to be able to reach from one end to another.
