How much force is needed to accelerate an object of mass 90kg at a rate of 1.2 m/s2

    Let's use Newton's second law of motion, shall we?

    Force = (mass) x (acceleration)

    = (90 kg) x (1.2 m/s²)

    = 108 newtons
