Is darkness matter?

    Darkness is not matter since it does not take up any volume or space. For example, if you were to walk into a dark corner, the darkness isn't taking up space, so you can walk through it. Darkness is also not made up of any molecules or atoms either, unlike solids, liquids, gases, and plasma.
