Ammonia is a gas with molecules formed by one nitrogen atom and three hydrogen atoms joined together by three covalent bonds. The geometry of ammonia is as a result of orientation of the bonds which consists 4 pairs (3 pairs and one lone pair). The bonds angle between two hydrogen atoms is 107 degrees because the atoms are repelled by the lone pair of electrons on the Nitrogen atom
