Does your measurement technique for speed enable you to measure the fastest speed attained during an event?

    Definitely, the answer is yes and maybe no, since the speed = distance/time

    The time taken by the athlete to cover a particular distance will give us his speed & on comparing with the others we find the fastest speed.

    If you are using a stop watch it will not definitely give the accurate result because it will result from a slightly different time.
