You suspect that a wire is defective but can't see a break in it. Explain how measuring the resistance of the wire can tell you if it has a break.

    If you measure the resistence of the wire to see if it really has a break because like for instance my dad was fixing a wire but it didn't work so he try disconnecting it and putting it somewhere else but it still didn't work then he plug it and see if would zap him but it didn't so that made the conlcusion that the wire was defective!
