Jim runs off a diving board and lands in the water 3 meters from the end of the board. When he runs at the same speed on a higher diving board, he lands in the water 5 meters from the end of the board. Why is this?

    He is higher in the air which means he'll be traveling for a longer time before he hits the water. Have a good day!
