A ball of mass 0.5kg is released form rest at a height of 30m. how fast is it going when it hits the ground? acceleration due to gravity is g-9.8m/s^2

    Write total initial energy when ball was at rest at height 30 m from the ground and write total final energy when the ball just hits the ground. Then equate total initial energy and total final energy to obtain its velocity.
