There is a large box and a small box on a table. The same force is applied to both boxes. The large box moves two feet and the small box moves one foot. Which movement shows the most work done

    Definitely the large box.

    W = FS, where F is the net force, S is the relative displacement.

    Assume you applied the force at only one instant, then only friction does the work. So for larger box, the higher the mass will be. So does the friction.

    And the S is even bigger.

    It would depend on the directions of the boxes, but I believe there would be 3 units of work.
