Which data storage device will not have its data scrambled by a magnet?

    Solid state drives. Hard disk drives use a rotating platter that has data written by magnets, so having a strong magnet near one will corrupt its data. Solid state drives on the other hand, use electrical switches and no mechanical pieces. They are also generally faster than hard drives.
