    They are related by

    1/2kx^2 = Energy of the wave

    where x is the amplitude

    2E/k = x^2

    • k can also be written as

    ma = Kx

    ma/x = k

    a = w^2r

    thus k = w^2 * r / x

    2Ex / W^2*r = x^2

    2E/w^2*r = x
