Describe the steps in which a power plant transforms the energy in fossil fuels to electrical energy.

    In general, this process looks like this:

    1) Fossil fuels are burnt in order to get heat from them

    2) This heat is being used evaporate water

    3) This hot water vapor is used to power the turbine

    4) Turbine transforms mechanical energy into electrical energy

    The best thermal efficiency achieved, so far, using this process is just under 60%.
