    The white light is separated into its component colors - red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. The separation of visible light into its different colors is known as dispersion.

    If light pass through a prism, it will undergone a process called dispersion.

    Dispersion refers to a phenomenon when a certain electromagnetic wavelength is separated into different constituencies.

    When light enter prism, it will bend and separated which creates various colors as it passed through.
