    Based on the first law of thermodynamics, energy is neither created nor destroyed. Thus, the sun's energy is transferred into different forms of energy such as heat, kinetic, potential, etc. However, the second law of thermodynamics state that more of this energy is wasted because of entropy. Thus, the sun's energy will always be greater than the usable energy used for living. The rest are wasted as dissipated heat.
