    Part 1. F = m*a

    M=12kg

    A = 3 m/s^2

    So F = 12kg * 3 m/s^2 which means

    F=36 Newton’s

    Part 2. F=12000N

    M = F/A

    A=4 m/s^2

    So M = 12000N / 4 m/s^2

    Which means M=3000 kg
