    Ampere’s law states that the magnetic field of a solenoid is directly proportional to the current supplied. This is expressed mathematically as:

    B = μ n I

    where,

    B = magnetic field

    μ = magnetic permeability

    n = number of turns per length

    I = current

    Therefore, increasing the current will increase the magnetic field of a solenoid.
