A simple pendulum with mass m = 2.1 kg and length l = 2.32 m hangs from the ceiling. it is pulled back to an small angle of θ = 8° from the vertical and released at t = 0. 1) what is the period of oscillation?

    Time period of oscillation, T = 2π Sqrt (L/g)

    L = 2.32 m, g = 9.81 m/s^2

    Therefore,

    T = 2π*Sqrt (2.32/9.81) = 3.06 Seconds
