    There is a relationship between energy, current, voltage and time. The formula to be used is written below:

    E = IVt,

    where

    I is the current in amperes

    V is voltage in volts

    t is the time in seconds

    Substituting the values,

    E = (0.5 A) (120 V) (60 s)

    E = 3,600 J
