A 130 kg block is pulled at a constant speed of 9.0 m/s across a horizontal floor by an applied force of 102 kg directed 37° above the horizontal. what is the rate at which the force does work on the block?

    I assume the applied force is in Newtons, not kilograms. now, because the question is asking for the rate of work (aka power), we know that P=F*v. (Power=Force*Velocity) and because the force is not in the direction of motion, we find the component of the force along the direction of motion (Fcos (theta)), therefore the answer is 120N*Cos (37) * 9m/s
