    Newton's second law states: F = ma

    Substituting,

    105 = 0.085 a = > a = 105/0.085 = 1235.29 m/s^2

    Additionally,

    v^2=u^2+2as, v = final velocity as the arrow leaves the bow, u = initial velocity = 0 m/s, s = distance moved before the arrow leaves the bow = 75 cm = 0.075.

    Therefore,

    v^2 = 0^2 + 2*1235.29*0.075 = 185.29 = > v = sqrt (185.29) = 13.61 m/s
