    Greater scale 667

    Lesser scale 333

    Explanation:

    Since the greater scale reads twice, lets say 2x and the lesser one x then total 2x+x=3x=1000 N

    x=1000/3 = 333.33

    Approximately lesser scale is 334 N

    Greater scale = 1000-333=667
