    I have done this by the process of elimination.

    B is not correct because Fossil Fuels do not burn clean, and definitely do not reduce air pollution

    C is not correct, because it is likely that as populations increase, we will rely on more power, and since assumably it takes time for populations to increase, the earth will be in need for more renewable ways to power the devices we enjoy today.

    D The definition of non-renewable energy is that it cannot be recovered, when coal is burned, the energy it generates is used for powering something, but the coal is no longer in existence, therefore this is not correct.

    A makes the most sense.
