    Answer: MA = 5

    Explanation:

    The mechanical advantage is the ratio of the load to the effort. It is a measure of how efficient a simple machine is.

    MA = Load/Effort

    Load = 35N

    Effort = 7N

    Therefore

    MA = 35N/7N

    MA = 5

    Since the mechanical advantage is more than 1, the lever is highly efficient as it allows a very small effort to overcome 5 times its magnitude of load.
