    This charge becomes less because of interference of other electrons because of which a portion of positive charge on nucleus is cancelled out thus resulting in decrease of force due to negative charge on an electron and a portion reduced positive charge on nucleus. Thus an electron experiences an effective nuclear charge which is less than the actual nuclear charge if other electrons were not present. This effect is called electrom shielding - - True!
