If you were to create a wet mount slide with the word "lens" on the slide and placed the slide on the stage so it could be read from left to right (when viewed with the naked eye), which way would the word appear when viewed through the microscope?

A microscope is used for the purpose of magnification of an object which is usually very minute - so much so that it is not easy to be seen with the naked eye. If a mount slide contains the word lens which is easily readable with the naked eye and if this slide is kept under a microscope, the text will appear:

From left to right that is in the same original direction as it was positioned on the slide. Highly magnified which may make it illegible to be read using the microscope.
