    The speed of the object is increasing

    Explanation:

    From the definition of force;

    F = ma ... 1

    Where m = mass

    a = acceleration

    Where acceleration is the rate at which speed/velocity increases. When a force act in the same direction as the motion of an object, then the object accelerate (i. e velocity increases) no matter how small the force is. As the force reduces the rate of increase in speed/velocity reduces but the object speed still increases at a lower rate. When the force is totally removed then the object will move at constant speed.
