two 5.5 kg balls of clay are thrown at eachother. a red ball of clay is thrown at 9 m/s and a green ball of clay is thrown at 5 m/s. the balls stick together when they collide. what will be the post collision velocity of the balls?

    Pinitial=Pfinal

    MaVa+MbVb=MtotalVfinal

    (5.5) (9) + (5.5) (5) = (5.5+5.5) V

    49.5+27.5=11V

    77/11=V

    7m/s=V
