    SNR which stand for signal to noise ratio is a ratio that is calculated to compare the disired signal level and background noise level

    SNR which stand for signal to noise ratio is a ratio that is calculated to compare the disired signal level and background noise level. It is expressed in db i. e. decibel. and ratio of 1:1 shows more signal level than noise.

    generally signal with 20 db is considered as good SNR value while 18 db around SNR is good for data.
