The products being used to scrub carbon dioxide (NaOH and Ca (OH) 2) are not toxic to the environment. Still, the products are not being disposed of into the environment since they are being recycled into scrubbing more carbon dioxide. The captured carbon dioxide can also be used for industrial use. This ensures that this is a safe way of carbon capture and saves the environment from greenhouse gases.
