A car is moving 60 km/h when the driver sees a signal light 40 m ahead turn red. The car can slow with an acceleration at the -.5g, where g is 9.8 m/s^2. What was her stopping distance? Assume zero reaction time. You should convert 60 km/h to m/s.

    final velocity = 0 (V)
