    Explanation:

    Scientific theories are explanations of various well known facts. They are hypotheses that best explain a scientific phenomenon. More development of theories doesn't make it acceptable.

    Instead they have to supported by the results of several tests performed by employing proper scientific methods. It is only after several years of thorough scientific research a theory is accepted as the best explanation of a phenomenon. Unlike facts that are accepted as universal truths theories can be proven wrong over time.
