You drive a car 2.0 h at 40 km/h, then 2.0 h at 80 km/h. (a) What is your average velocity? km/h (b) Do you get the same answer if you drive 120 km at each of the two speeds above? no yes

    a) (2*40+2*80) / (2+2) = 240/4=60

    b) (240) / (120/40+120/80) = 240 / (3+1.5)

    240/4.5=53.33333
