    a. Force=6180 N

    b. Force=5.56 N

    Explanation:

    Data

    R (Curvature) = 1300 m

    V (Plane Speed) = 260 m/s

    g (gravity) = 9.8 m/s^2

    For part a of question

    m=100 kg

    Force = ((mv^2) / R) + mg

    F = ((100kg * (260) ^2) / 1300) + (100kg) * (9.8)

    F=6180 N Answer

    For part b of question

    m=90.0 g

    Force = ((mv^2) / R) + mg

    F = ((90g * (260) ^2) / 1300) + (90g) * (9.8)

    F=5.56 N Answer
