    Explanation:

    Momentum, p is the product of mass, m and velocity, v of the body. And lets say that,

    F=dp/dt,

    Then, putting the values in the equation above:

    F=d (m. v) / dt,

    As, we can simplify it now as,

    F=m. (dv) / dt, as we can say that, a=dv/dt.

    F=m. a

    So, results can be very simplified to clear the concepts by going through the above procedure.
