The diagram represents two small, charged, identical metal spheres, A and B, that are separated by a distance of 2.0 meters. If the two spheres were touched together and then separated, the charge on sphere A would be *

q1 = - 1.6x10^-6C

q2=+1.0x10^-6 C

d=2m

Final answer is - 3.0x10^-7 C, but I don't know why it is like that.
