A drag racer starts from rest and acclerates to a velocity of 30 m/s in 1 s. What is the acceleration of the racer?

    a=v-u/t

    v=final velocity

    u=initial velocity

    u=0 (when a body starts from rest the initial velocity is 0)

    v=30m/s

    a=30-0/1

    =30m/s²
