A ball with a mass of 0.15 kg rolling at 2.7 m/s rolls down into a ditch that is 2.2 m deep. Assuming a complete transformation of energy, what is the ball's velocity at the bottom of the ditch?

    gravitational potential energy = maximum kinetic energy

    mgh = 1/2mv*2

    (0.15) (9.8) (2.2) = 1/2 (0.15) v*2

    3.234 = 1/2 (0.15) v2

    v2 = 43.13
