B A soup spoon gets hot after sitting in a bowl of hot soup.

    Explanation:

Conduction is the movement of heat energy from one part of a material to other parts of the material. It is usually associated with solids.

If you sit a soup spoon in a bowl of hot soup, the hotness of the soup is transferred from the soup to the spoon. The part sitting in the soup becomes hot after sometime because of the heat energy transferred from the hot soup to the spoon.

This hotness is then transferred from the part of the spoon sitting in the soup to the handle of the spoon.

Conduction is said to have taken place because the hotness of the soup has now transferred from the soup to the part of the spoon in the soup and also to other part of the spoon
